Hockey is among the more difficult sports to forecast rookie cards as most of the top entry players have never been seen by the masses, certainly not by collectors south of Canada. So, one is mostly reliant on statistics and draft scouting reports to ascertain who has a shot to be a star or even rookie of the year.
Nonetheless, an article on Sports Illustrated.com gives a good look at the top ten new faces that may hit the ice this season with a little analysis as well.
